Prior
to a company interview, we will provide you with as
much information as possible in order for the interview
to be a valuable use of your time. In most cases, we
have extensive client company information to assist
you, along with our comments on the culture and style
of the company and individuals.
In
addition, we will coach you on proper interview techniques;
provide on-going feedback during the process; help
you in gathering additional information; assist in
compensation negotiations - counsel you on how to
best resign your position - and support you right
up to the first day at your new company, and client
companies assume all fees.
There are never any monetary charges to you at any
time - our client companies assume all fees.
We
are both a retainer / contingency based firm. Quite
simply, we are hired by company management to seek
out individuals for specialized positions.
Since
we are seeking the best candidates, it is common for
us to work with individuals who are not actively seeking
a new opportunity. Most of our placement activity,
in fact, is with new candidates who are gainfully
employed but utilize us to further their careers.
On occasion, we do place people soon after we speak
to them, but most of the time a long-term relationship
develops before anything happens.
Position change is not something we take lightly,
as many other recruiting firms do. By entrusting yourself
to L. Battalin & Company you can keep abreast
of the marketplace and plan your career instead of
letting your career plan you. Remember that the marketplace
dictates what opportunities might be available to
you, and when you need us the most (i.e., job dissatisfaction,
out of work) we may or may not be able to secure an
interview for you.
